The form is simple: an L-shaped parapet element, white, positioned at the junction of a powder blue wall and a deep cobalt sky. What activates it is the shadow. The Costa Blanca sun, striking from above and to the right, casts a bold diagonal triangle inside the white form — the geometry of the shadow disagreeing with the geometry of the architecture, adding an oblique to a composition otherwise made entirely of right angles. Two blues, one white, one shadow. The diagonal is the only element here that doesn't belong to the building. It belongs to the hour, and it changes everything.
