Le Corbusier didn't choose colors casually. He developed two deliberate color collections — published with Swiss manufacturer Salubra in 1931 and 1959 — based on the belief that specific hues had measurable spatial and psychological effects: some colors advancing toward the viewer, others receding, some making walls feel solid, others dissolving them. At Corbusierhaus Berlin, those theories are built in at full scale, panel by panel. Shot close, you're not just looking at color — you're inside an argument about what color does to space, and to the person standing in it.
