The Unité d'Habitation asked a question that social housing rarely dares: what if the building expressed its residents rather than erasing them? At Corbusierhaus Berlin, Le Corbusier answered through color — each balcony panel a different hue, the facade becoming a record of who lives there without revealing anything specific. Shot close, the individual panels assert themselves against the grid that contains them. Architecture as collective self-portrait: many voices, one wall.
