Le Corbusier conceived the Unité d'Habitation as more than housing — it was a thesis, a position, a complete society stacked in concrete. At the Berlin iteration, built for the 1957 Interbau exhibition, color does the structural work: each balcony panel painted in a bold hue, the grid of the facade becoming a chromatic argument as much as an architectural one. Shot close, the building disappears into its own logic — what remains is a field of color so systematic it stops being decoration and starts being conviction.
