The grey ceramic section of Central Saint Giles is the building's most measured face — neutral, precise, the fin system organized across the surface without the drama of color. And then the windows. Deep blue glass running the full height of each bay, open and generous, capturing not just sky but the building's own warmer faces: a coral reflection visible in the central pane, another section of the facade catching the sun and sending itself across the courtyard into this one. The grey section is never as neutral as it appears. Look at what it's holding in its glass.
